The 32-Hour Hybrid Fashion Styling Development Program is designed for emerging creatives seeking a deeper understanding of how fashion styling operates within professional editorial, commercial, and production environments. Through a combination of live online instruction and hands-on portfolio development, students will build both the creative and professional foundations required to navigate the industry with greater confidence and direction.

Throughout the program, students will explore styling workflow, creative direction, wardrobe sourcing, visual storytelling, photoshoot production, client communication, and freelance business foundations while developing a stronger understanding of how creative projects move from concept to execution. Participants will also gain insight into industry expectations, professional collaboration, and the realities of working within contemporary production environments.

The program culminates in hands-on studio-based portfolio development, where students will apply their learning through guided creative projects, collaborative production experiences, and practical styling exercises designed to strengthen both technical ability and professional readiness.

Program Overview

The first half of the program focuses on live online learning covering styling theory, production workflow, visual development, sourcing strategies, creative direction, freelance business foundations, and industry expectations.

The second half transitions into hands-on practical learning within a Toronto studio environment, where students will participate in guided editorial portfolio development and collaborative styling execution.

Students will gain experience working through professional styling workflow from concept development through shoot preparation and creative execution.

Feven Tsegaye is a Toronto-based fashion stylist, costume designer, and costume department professional working across editorial, commercial, film, television, music, and red carpet productions.

Her work includes collaborations with SHEIN, Töme, Roy Woods, Araya Mengesha, Dani Doucette, Johnny Drille, and other artists and creative professionals.

Film and television credits include Reacher, Interview with the Vampire, Tell Me Lies, and Boston Blue.
