The Creative Trades Academy Film & TV Acting Intensive is a one-day, hands-on training experience designed for aspiring and emerging actors to strengthen their acting foundation, develop their on-camera skills, and gain practical insight into the realities of working in film and television.
Led by accomplished actress and educator Feaven Abera, participants will learn through practical instruction, demonstrations, acting exercises, scene work, and industry-focused guidance in an immersive studio environment.
Whether you're taking your first step into acting or looking to build upon your existing experience, this intensive is designed to help you approach the craft with greater confidence, intention, and professionalism.
No previous professional acting experience is required.

MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR
FEAVEN ABERA
Actress • Educator
Feaven Abera is an Ethio-Canadian actress born in Hamilton, Ontario, and a Toronto-based film and television performer whose career spans television, film, theatre, music videos, modeling, and short-form projects.
Her screen credits include Netflix's Wayward, FOX/Sony Pictures' Doc, Lilly Singh's Doin' It, HBO Max/CBC's Sort Of, Hulu/MGM's The Handmaid's Tale, Paramount Television's Mayor of Kingstown, Global TV's Nurses, Netflix's Grand Army, and the feature film A Tribe Called Love, in which she played a lead role.
Her work has also been featured in projects screened at festivals across the United States and United Kingdom.
Feaven began her career in modeling for print and runway before transitioning into acting. Alongside her professional work, she has developed extensive training across acting technique, on-camera performance, improv, musical theatre, and performance.
As an actress and educator, Feaven brings both professional industry experience and a passion for helping emerging performers develop their craft. Through this intensive, she shares practical knowledge, personal experience, and foundational tools that aspiring actors can apply to their own development.
